ABOUT US

La Bahia Antique Show and Sale is part of the world famous Round Top Antique Festival weekend. The festival is held twice annually, first in the spring, when all the Texas wild flowers are blooming, and again in the fall, just as the trees first show signs of turning brown. This is usually around the first weekends in April and October.

It’s popularity seems to increase with each show. If you’re traveling a long way, make your room reservations early, as all area inns are booked weeks in advance.

Although the La Bahia Antique Show has not been around as long as the festival, it has made a positive impression on visitors since it was started in 1992. The Round Top Register’s “Antiques and Craft Show Guide” states that among the “Shows that have shown consistent quality over the years are the La Bahia Antique Show at 237 and Hwy 290…” Held in the historic 1879 La Bahia Dance Hall and Community Center just west of Burton, Texas on TX237, it offers a variety of dealers from across Texas and the country, consisting of fine American and English furniture, Flow Blue, sterling silver, clocks, European linens, books, primitives, American stoneware, vintage and estate jewelry, architectural items, elegant glass, vintage and repurposed items, collectibles and much more. With our number of dealers growing over the years, the hall will no longer hold them all and we have had to add adjacent tents to accommodate the number of dealers.

When you get tired and hungry, stop, take a load off and try a home cooked meal, including some of the best BBQ in Texas. We have a great hamburger as well. If you’re an early bird, try out our country breakfast buffet. It’s great!

While most of the other shows at the festival charge for admission, La Bahia Antiques has no cover charge, making it a must show to visit. Parking is free as well.

Free Admission • Free Parking • Country Cooking

Great dealers, consistent quality, great home cooked meals, no cover charge, free parking and a scenic drive from the Houston, Austin and San Antonio areas. We’ve got it all. So don’t miss another festival and make us your first stop and stay all day.
